The Furman University Art Department is pleased to announce the opening of Re-vision: New Directions in Traditional Genres, a photography exhibition that will feature work by four emerging artists who met in 2015 at a Flash Powder Retreat.

Terri Bright, Adam Reynolds, Ivette Spradlin, and Mike Tittel are contemporary artists who reconsider traditional themes and approaches to photography. The four bodies of work in this exhibition represent the genres of still life, portraiture, documentary and street photography.

Furman University will host the exhibition from January 17 to February 21, 2017 at the Thompson Gallery in the Roe Art Building of Furman University, Greenville, SC.

Furman Art Faculty Exhibition runs October 7 - November 7, 2016. Closing reception is Friday, November 4 from 6-8pm. Furman University, Roe Art Building, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613. Gallery hours: M-F 9-5:00

I'm so happy to be exhibiting with my Flash Powder Retreat mates (Adam Reynolds, Ivette Spradlin, Mike Tittel) at Indiana University College of Art & Design in Columbus. The exhibition was co-curated by Jennifer Riley and Adam Reynolds, and features four bodies of work "that present the genres of still life, portraiture, documentary and street photography, all thoughtfully explored and reimagined".
