This summer I was fortunate to spend two weeks in China as part of the Luce Initiative on Asian Studies and the Environment (LIASE) Faculty Fellows Grant Program awarded by the Henry Luce Foundation of New York. This was a great opportunity to learn about the strides and missteps that the Chinese government is making in regard to air, soil, and water was also an opportunity to make some new images:

Untitled 2016 was selected for inclusion in the Griffin Museum of Photography's 24th Juried Exhibition. The juror for this exhibition was Richard McCabe, curator at the Ogden Museum.  Opening reception is July 19th.

Fraction Magazine celebrates its 10th Anniversary at PushDot Gallery in Portland. I'm happy to be a part of the exhibition which includes photographers featured in Fraction. Opening reception is June 1, 2018.

The Furman University Art Department is pleased to announce the opening of Re-vision: New Directions in Traditional Genres, a photography exhibition that will feature work by four emerging artists who met in 2015 at a Flash Powder Retreat.

Terri Bright, Adam Reynolds, Ivette Spradlin, and Mike Tittel are contemporary artists who reconsider traditional themes and approaches to photography. The four bodies of work in this exhibition represent the genres of still life, portraiture, documentary and street photography. 

Furman University will host the exhibition from January 17 to February 21, 2017 at the Thompson Gallery in the Roe Art Building of Furman University, Greenville, SC.

I'm so happy to be exhibiting with my Flash Powder Retreat mates (Adam Reynolds, Ivette Spradlin, Mike Tittel) at Indiana University College of Art & Design in Columbus. The exhibition was co-curated by Jennifer Riley and Adam Reynolds, and features four bodies of work "that present the genres of still life, portraiture, documentary and street photography, all thoughtfully explored and reimagined".

My book is here!   

The work in Sonnets spans almost two decades with the earliest images created during my time as a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. The book features thirty-nine color plates, and was printed in an edition of 500 by Flashpowder Press in 2016.
